Abstract
Bu araştırma, okul öncesi eğitimde öğretmenlerin istenmeyen davranışları önleme ve bu davranışlara müdahale etmek için etkili yöntemleri saptamak ve çözüm önerileri sunmaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu ortalama 87 kişiden oluşturulmuştur.
Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından ikinci el kaynaklardan oluşturulan Anket vasıtası ile toplanmıştır. Veriler, SPSS 15.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesinde Ortalama (X) frekans (f), ve yüzde (%) istatistiklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin istenmeyen davranışları müdahale tekniklerin; yaşa, mesleki kıdeme, eğitim durumuna ve çocuk sahibi olup olmama durumuna göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin tespiti için ise t testi, Varyans Analizi ve ANOVA analizi uygulanmıştır.
Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerin sınıftaki istenmeyen davranışları gösteren çocuklara davranış tarzı Bir daha yapmaması gerektiğini söylenilmeli, roller verilmeli, disiplin ve kurallara uyma öğretilmeli, uygunsuz davranışın sebebini sorulmalı ve davranışın yanlış olduğunu açıklanmalı davranışlarının daha çok tercih edildiği, uygulanan önleme tekniklerinin somut örnekler kullanma ve konunun güncel yasamla bağlantısını kurma tekniği, basit ve anlaşılır sınıf kuralları koyma tekniği ve dur ve düşün tekniğinin ilk üç sırayı alan teknikler olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
