Abstract
Bu çalışmada, ailelerin eğitim sürecine katılmalarına ilişkin okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenlerin görüşleri incelenmiştir. Nitel desende yapılandırılan araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Batman İli Merkez İlçesinde MEB’e bağlı okullarda görev yapan okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenlerden oluşan 15 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılardan görüşme tekniği kullanılarak elde edilen sonuçlar genel olarak, katılımcıların sosyoekonomik düzeyi düşük olan ailelerin eğitim sürecine genel olarak katılımlarının düşük olduğu, öğrencileri desteklemedikleri; veli katılımının genel olarak eğitim süreçlerine katkı sağladığı; velilerin katılımı ile yaşanan engeller ile ilgili olarak velilerin ilgisizliği ya da zaman bulamamaları, okulların evlere uzaklığı, ailelerin çalışıyor olması, eğitime önem verilmemesi gibi çeşitli boyutlara yönelik görüş bildirdikleri görülmüştür.

Abstract
In this study, the opinions of school administrators and teachers regarding the participation of families in the education process were examined. According to the results obtained from the opinions of 15 participants made with the school principal and teachers in the Merkez District of Batman; It has been seen that the necessary care is not given to the children, the participation of the parents with low socioeconomic level is generally low, the parents should participate in the education process, and they do not support the students. It is seen that parent participation generally contributes. According to this; It has been seen that the student contributes to the field of education and training, the teacher gets to know that child better, the problems are solved in a short time, the student thinks that he is cared for by his family, makes the student feel special, and accelerates success in a positive way. Regarding the obstacles experienced with the participation of the parents; Other parents' educational and socio-cultural qualifications are high, their students are behind the grade level, parents are not interested or can't find time, schools are far from home, parents are working, education is not given importance, some parents send their children to school because education is compulsory.
