Abstract
Bu araştırmada Üniversiteye Hazırlanan ve Üniversitede Eğitim Gören Öğrencilerin Üniversite Tercihlerini Etkileyen Faktörler araştırılmıştır. Araştırma yakınsayan paralel desene uygun karma bir çalışma olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılının bahar döneminde Ankara ilindeki üniversiteler ve ortaöğretim kurumlarında eğitim görmekte olan 297 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada kullanılan veri toplama aracı; 3 bölümden oluşmakta olup, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel, ekonomik, çevresel ve ailevi olmak üzere 4 bölüme ayrılan toplam 24 çoktan seçmeli soru ve 2 de yorum sorusu içermektedir. Araştırma sonucunda lise öğrencilerinin okumak istedikleri bölüm ve üniversiteleri seçme nedenleri olan kişisel, ekonomik, çevresel ve ailevi kategorilerde; okudukları lise türü, cinsiyetleri, annelerinin eğitim düzeyleri ve babalarının eğitim düzeylerine bağlı olarak herhangi bir farklılaşma bulunmamıştır. Üniversite öğrencilerinin ise okudukları bölüm ve üniversiteleri seçme nedenleri olan kişisel, ekonomik, çevresel ve ailevi kategorilerde ; mezun oldukları lise türü, cinsiyetleri, annelerinin ve babalarının eğitim durumlarına bağlı olarak herhangi bir farklılaşma oluşmazken, üniversite türlerine göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşma tespit edilmiştir. Üniversitede okuyan ve çalışmaya katılan 132 öğrencinin 80’i okuduğu bölümden memnun olmadığını bildirirken bu öğrencilerin 40’ı (%50) istedikleri bölümde okuyamamalarının nedenini sınavdan yeterli puan alamamak olduğunu belirtmiştir.

Abstract
In this study, the Factors Affecting the University Preferences of the Students Prepared for and Studying at the University were investigated. The research was designed as a mixed study in accordance with the convergent parallel design. The sample of the study consisted of 297 students studying at universities and secondary education institutions in Ankara in the spring semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The data collection tool used in the research; It consists of 3 parts and includes a total of 24 multiple-choice questions and 2 comment questions prepared by the researcher and divided into 4 parts as personal, economic, environmental and familial.As a result of the research, no differentiation was found depending on the type of high school they attended, gender, education level of their mothers and education levels of their fathers in personal, economic, environmental and familial categories, which are the reasons for choosing the departments and universities they want to study. In the personal, economic, environmental and familial categories, which are the reasons for university students to choose their departments and universities, there is no difference depending on the type of high school they graduated from, their gender, and the educational status of their mothers and fathers, while there is a significant difference according to university types.While 80 of the 132 university students who participated in the study stated that they were not satisfied with the department they studied, 40 of these students (50%) stated that the reason why they could not study in the department they wanted was that they did not get enough points in the exam.
