Abstract
Yaratıcı turizm, hem şehirlerde hem de kırsal kesimde insanların aktif katılım sağladığı etkinliklerde yaratıcılık potansiyelini geliştiren, gidilen yörenin otantik özelliklerini deneyimlemek ve öğrenmek fırsatı sunan, yerel halk ile turistler arasında iletişim kuran ve yaşam kültürü oluşturan bir turizm çeşididir. Yaratıcı şehirlerin yaratıcı bireylere sağladığı imkânlar sonucunda oluşmuştur. Tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de yaratıcı turizmin sürdürülebilirlik açısından işlevi önemlidir. Kahramanmaraş, bulunduğu coğrafi konum nedeniyle somut kültürel miras ögeleri kadar soyut olmayan kültürel miras ögelerini de bulundurmaktadır. El sanatları, coğrafi işaretli ürünler, yerel edebiyat, festivaller, yöresel yiyecekler Maraş’ı farklı kılan unsurlarını oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı Kahramanmaraş’ın yerel kültürün ve geleneksel bilginin deneyimlenmesini beraberinde getiren yaratıcı turizm potansiyelini belirlemek ve sürdürülebilirlik açısından değerlendirmektir. Yörede deneyimleyerek öğrenmek, etkin katılım sağlamak, beceri geliştirmek ve yerel halk ile yakın ilişkiler dâhilinde yaratıcı turizm adına değerlendirilebilecek çok sayıda öge bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada Kahramanmaraş’ın yaratıcı turizm potansiyelinin yüksek olduğu ve yaratıcı turizmle ilgili projelerin yapılmasının gerekli olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
Creative tourism is a type of tourism that connects local people and visitors and creates a culture of life, offering the opportunity to develop the potential of creativity, experience and learn the authentic features of the region it goes to, both in cities and rural areas. It is the result of the opportunities that creative cities provide to creative individuals. As all over the world, the function of creative tourism in Turkey is important in terms of sustainability. Kahramanmaraş contains cultural heritage elements that are not as abstract as concrete cultural heritage elements due to its geographical location. Handicrafts, geographically marked products, local literature, festivals, local food are the elements that make Maraş different. In this context, the aim of the study is to determine the creative tourism potential of Kahramanmaraş, which brings with it the experience of local culture and traditional knowledge, and to evaluate it in terms of sustainability. There are many elements that can be evaluated in the name of creative tourism within the scope of learning by experiencing in the region, participating effectively, developing skills and close relations with the local people. In the study, it was concluded that the creative tourism potential of Kahramanmaraş is high and plans and projects on creative tourism are necessary.
