Abstract
Teknoloji insan yaşamında var olduğundan beri toplumlar hızlı değişim evrelerinden geçmektedir. Teknolojinin ilk çalışmaları bilgisayar, telefon, televizyon gelişmeler ile olmuştur. Başlangıçta insan yaşamını kolaylaştırma amaçlı yapılan teknolojik gelişmeler, kısa zaman içerisinde farklı boyutlara gelmiş bulunmaktadır. Başta yapay zekâ çalışmaları olacak şekilde farklı amaçlar barındıran gelişmeler yaşanmaktadır. Teknolojinin de beraberinde gelen sosyal ağlar, birçok uygulama ile sanallığın hâkim olduğu bir yaşam söz konusu olmuştur. Sanal evren günümüzde hızla büyüyen Metaverse evreni ile tahmin edilemeyen bir yaşam getirebilir. Metaverse gerçeklik algılarını yıkmış ve kendi nüfusu olan Metahumanlar ile insanı sadece bedeniyle değil düşünceleriyle de tamamen köleleştirmeye gidebilir. Metaverse ve Metahuman benzeri bir gerçeği çağdaş kuramcılardan olan Jean Baudrillard’ ın Simülasyon ve Simülakr kuramında karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bunlar sanal evrenler ve sanal bireylerdir. Tüm bunlar dikkate alındığında insanlığın geleceğinde bazı tehditler olduğu söylenebilir. Bireyin makinevari bir köleye dönüştüğü ve insan yaşamının sanal evrende Metahumanlar tarafından devam edildiği bir insanlık söz konusu olabilir. Tüm bu gelişmeler sosyolojide yeni bir kapı açmıştır; Sanallığın Sosyolojisi. Bu alanda yaşamın önemli bölümünün geçtiği sanal alanda bireyin sanallaştığı, toplumsal etkileri, değişimleri, normal hayatımıza etkileri gibi konular tartışılabilir. Bu makalede kısaca bu süreçler ele alınıp tartışılmıştır. Ancak sadece bununla sınırlı olacak kadar küçük etkileri olan bir dönem değildir. Bu çalışmanın amacı teknolojinin var ettiği sanal evrenin günümüzde gelinen son noktası olan Metaverse ve bu evrenin bireyi olan Metahumanın insanlığın geleceğine dair geçmiş teknolojik gelişmelerin sonuçları da temel alınarak var olabilecek sonuçlar hakkında öngörüde bulunmaktır.

Abstract
Since technology has existed in human life, societies have been going through phases of rapid change. The first studies of technology have been with the developments in computers, telephones and televisions. Technological developments, which were initially made to facilitate human life, have come to different dimensions in a short time. There are developments with different purposes, especially artificial intelligence studies. With social networks and many applications that come with technology, a life dominated by virtuality has been in question. The virtual universe can bring an unpredictable life with the rapidly growing Metaverse universe today. The Metaverse has destroyed their perception of reality and with its own population of Metahumans, it can go to enslave the human not only with his body but also with his thoughts. A reality similar to Metaverse and Metahuman appears in Jean Baudrillard's Simulation theory who is one of the contemporary theorists. These are virtual universes and virtual individuals. Considering all these, it can be said that there are some threats in the future of humanity. There may be a humanity in which the individual is transformed into a machine-like slave and human life is continued by Metahumans in the virtual universe. All these developments have opened a new door in sociology; Sociology of Virtuality. In this area, subjects such as the virtualization of the individual, its social effects, changes, and its effects on our normal life can be discussed in the virtual space where a significant part of life takes place. In this article, these processes are handled and discussed as possible. However, it is not a period with such small effects as to be limited to this. The aim of this study is to predict the possible outcomes of the Metaverse, which is the last point of the virtual universe created by technology, and the future of humanity, Metahuman, the individual of this universe, based on the results of past technological developments.
