Abstract
Erdinç Bakla, 50 yılı aşkın süredir Türkiye’de seramik sanatının modern söyleminde öne çıkan isimlerden birisidir. Bu söylemin temelinde; aldığı eğitim ve kültürel birikimlerinin yanı sıra; diğer disiplinleri de araştıran, uygulayan ve bunlarla bir sentez oluşturabilmiş bir sanatçı olması yatmaktadır. Erdinç Bakla’nın seramik heykelleri, izleyiciyi Hititlerden, Yunan uygarlıklarına birçok dönemde gezintiye çıkaran çağdaş idoller olmuştur. Anadolu’ya has kültürel mirasın seramik heykele dönüştüğü bu idoller, geçmiş uygarlıkların izlerini çağdaş ve estetik bir kaygı ile sunmaktadır. Sanatçı, kendi yaşadığı toprakların izlerini taşıyan, aynı zamanda modern insanın estetik algısına da hitap eden pek çok eser üretmekte ve kendiyle özdeşleşen bu modern idoller ile anılmaktadır. Özellikle çağdaşlarına ve gelecek nesillere de, bulunduğu coğrafyanın izlerinden etkilenmeleri ve bu kültürel mirası devam ettirmeleri gerekliliğini salık veren Bakla, bu doğrultuda kendi üslubunu oluşturmuştur. Kültürel arşivin önemini her zaman vurgulayan ve bu nedenle çağdaşlarının eserlerinden oluşan geniş bir dijital arşivi de ilgililerle buluşturmayı hedefleyen sanatçı; Anadolu ile iç-içeliğini çağdaş sanat yolu ile sergilediği seramik heykelleri bağlamında, sanat ile kültürel mirasın kesişiminde en etkileyici örneklerden sayılabilir.

Abstract
Erdinç Bakla is one of the highlights in the modern discourse of ceramic art in Turkey over 50 years. On the basis of this discourse; in addition to education and cultural background; It is also an artist who has been able to research, practice and synthesize other disciplines. Erdinç Bakla's ceramic sculptures have been contemporary idols that take the audience on a tour from the Hittites to the Greek civilizations in many periods. These idols, in which Anatolian cultural heritage is transformed into ceramic sculpture, present the traces of past civilizations with a contemporary and aesthetic concern. The artist produces many works that bear the traces of the lands he lives in and appeal to the aesthetic perception of modern people, and he is remembered with these modern idols who are identified with him.Recommending that especially his contemporaries and future generations should be affected by the traces of the geography they live in and that they should continue this cultural heritage, Bakla has created his own style in this direction.The artist, who always emphasizes the importance of the cultural archive and therefore aims to bring together a large digital archive consisting of the works of his contemporaries; In the context of his ceramic sculptures, which he displays his bond with Anatolia through contemporary art, it can be considered as one of the most impressive examples of the intersection of art and cultural heritage.
