Abstract
Bu araştırmada; 2013 yılında bBox Type GmbH, Carrois Corporate GbR ve Edenspiekermann AG tarafından tasarlanan Fira Sans Regular yazıtipine ait harfler tipografi bağlamında incelenmektedir. Araştırma kapsamında Fira Sans Regular karakterinin Helvetica Regular ile ayıt edici - benzer detayları ve her iki karakterin anatomik özellikleri açısından karşılaştırmasına da yer verilmektedir. Yazıtipinin ait olduğu taksonomi, karakterin anatomik özellikleri, algısal / optik kurallar bağlamında işleyen genel tipografik ve okunabilirlik kurallarının karakter üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. İncelemeler sonrası Fira Sans Regular yazıtipinin Helvetica Regular yazıtipi ile karşılaştırılmasının nedeni; Erik Spiekermann tarafından tasarlanmış FF Meta yazıtipinin tasarımcının kendi deyimiyle Helvetica’nın antitezi oluşu ve Fira Sans’ın FF Meta şablonu üzerine inşa edilmesidir.

Abstract
In this study, the letters belonging to the Fira Sans Regular typeface designed by bBox Type GmbH, Carrois Corporate GbR and Edenspiekermann AG in 2013 are examined in the context of typography. Within the scope of the research, the distinctive-similar details of the character of Fira Sans Regular with Helvetica Regular and the comparison of both characters in terms of anatomical features are included. The effects of the general typographic and readability rules on the character in the context of the taxonomy of the typeface, the anatomical features of the character, perceptual / optical rules were examined. The reason why the Fira Sans Regular font was compared with the Helvetica Regular typeface in the analysis; The FF Meta typeface designed by Erik Spiekermann is the antithesis of Helvetica in the designer's own words and Fira Sans built on the FF Meta template.
