SOSYAL BİLGİLER DERSİNDE ÖĞRENCİLERİN KARAR VERME BECERİ DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİNE YÖNELİK BİR MATERYAL: KARAR VERME GRİDİ

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı sosyal bilgiler dersi kapsamında yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin karar verme beceri düzeylerini karar verme gridi yoluyla belirlemektir. Çalışmada betimsel araştırma türlerinden tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi çalışma grubunda yer alacak katılımcılar belirlenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda çalışma grubunda 150 yedinci sınıf öğrencisi yer almıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında, örnek olay metni ve karar verme gridi kullanılmıştır. Karar verme gridi analitik rubrik kullanılarak puanlanmıştır. Veriler, betimsel istatistikle analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulgularından hareketle yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin karar verme beceri düzeylerinin iyi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Karar verme süreçlerinde ise, yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin problemi tanımlamada orta, seçenekleri belirlemede iyi, ölçütleri belirlemede iyi, değerlendirme yapmada orta ve karar vermede ise orta düzeyde oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the decision-making skill levels of seventh-grade students within the scope of social studies course through the decision-making grid. Survey method, one of the descriptive research types, was used in the study. Participants to be included in the convenience sampling method study group were determined. Accordingly, 150 seventh grade students took part in the study group. In collecting the data, the case study text and decision-making grid were used. The decision-making grid is scored using the analytical rubric. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that seventh grade students' decision-making skill levels were good. In the decision-making processes, it was concluded that the seventh-grade students were fair in defining the problem, good in determining the options, good in determining the criteria, medium in making evaluations, and medium in decision making.
