Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı; Türkiye’deki Sosyal bilgiler eğitimi alanında tarih konularıyla ilgili yapılan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerini inceleyip, bu konuda çalışmak isteyen araştırmacılara yol göstermek ve alan yazınına katkıda bulunmaktır. Çalışma 2010-2019 yılları arasında yapılan lisansüstü tezlerini kapsamaktadır. Bu araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış, döküman incelemesi yapılmıştır. Sosyal bilgiler eğitimi alanında tarih çerçevesinde yapılan araştırmalar yıllara göre dağılımı, üniversitelere göre dağılımı, konularına göre dağılımı, yöntemlerine göre dağılımı, örneklem gruplarına göre dağılımı ve genel sonuçlarına ilişkin değerlendirme alt başlıkları oluşturularak incelenmiştir. Araştırma verilerine Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu’nun Ulusal Tez Merkezi sitesinden ulaşılmıştır. Ulaşılan verilerin analizi içerik analizi yöntemine göre yapılmıştır. Buna göre bu araştırma konusuyla ilgili olarak en çok yüksek lisans tezine rastlanılmıştır. Bu tezlerin sayısının ayrıca 2019 yılında arttığı görülmektedir. Sosyal bilgiler eğitimi alanında tarih çerçevesinde yapılan tezlerin en çok Marmara Üniversitesi’nde yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Konulara göre dağılımda ise en çok tarih öğretimi ile ilgili lisansüstü tezlere ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmacılar örneklem grubu olarak en çok öğretmenleri tercih etmişlerdir. Yöntem olarak, en çok nitel araştırma yöntemini kullanmış, en az ise karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada son alt başlık olarak tezlerden ulaşılan genel sonuçlara yer verilmiş ve bu sonuçlara göre önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is, examining master and doctoral theses made on the subject of social studies education in the field of history in Turkey, guidance to researchers who want to work on this issue, and contribute to the field of literature. The study includes master theses between 2010-2019. In this research, qualitative research method is used and document analysis is made. The research conducted in the field of social studies education within the framework of history has been examined by forming evaluation subtitles regarding the distribution by years, universities, subjects, sample groups, general results, and methods. Research data were obtained from the website of the Higher Education Institution National Thesis Center. The analysis of the obtained data was made according to the content analysis method. According to this information, most of the master thesis have been found. It is seen that the number of these theses increased in 2019. It has been determined that the theses made within the framework of history in the field of social studies education are mostly done in Marmara University. In the distribution according to the subjects, most of the postgraduate theses on history teaching were reached. Researchers mostly preferred teachers as the sample group. It is the most used qualitative research method as a method and the least mixed method is used. In the research, the general results obtained from the theses were given as the last subtitle, and suggestions were made according to these results
