Abstract
Kimlik tartışmaları ülkemiz için güncel bir konu olma özelliğini sürdürmektedir. Türkiye’de kimlik üzerine yapılan araştırmalarda, benimsenen kimliğin tespitine yönelik katılımcılara “kendinizi ne olarak hissediyorsunuz? sorusu yöneltilmekte ve “Türk, Türk-Müslüman, Müslüman, Türkiyeli, T.C vatandaşı, insan, diğer” gibi cevaplar alınmaktadır. Dolayısıyla, Türkiye’deki kimlik tartışmalarının daha çok bu cevaplardaki kavramlar üzerinde yoğunlaştığı görülmektedir. Makale iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde kültürel kimliğin ne olduğu ve nasıl kazanıldığı açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise Türkiye’deki kültürel kimlik tartışmaları incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda incelenen konulardan birincisi, kültürel kimliğin coğrafi faktörlerle açıklanması olan Türkiyelilik kavramıdır. İkinci konu ise millet olmanın gereği olan duygudaşlık, aidiyet, kültürel mensubiyet ve katılma göz ardı edilerek kimliğin anayasal vatandaşlık çerçevesinde açıklanmasıdır. Üçüncü konu ise kültürel kimlik olan Türklüğün etnik kimlik düzleminde ele alınmasıdır. Makalenin üzerinde durduğu temel sorun, Türkiye’de kültürel kimlik konularının tartışmasıyla ilgilidir. Bu bağlamda, dokümantasyon metodunun kullanıldığı makalenin amacı, Türkiye’deki kültürel kimlik tartışmalarını birçok yönü ile sosyolojik olarak incelenmektir.

Abstract
Identity discussions continue to be a current issue for our country. In the survey on the identity of Turkey, the participants adopted for determining the identity "as to what you feel? questions are posed and "Turkish, Turkish-Muslim, Muslim, Turkish, T. C citizen, human, other" as answers are received. Consequently, more of these answers it is focused on concepts of identity debate in Turkey. The article consists of two parts. In the first part, it is explained what cultural identity is and how it is acquired. In the second part of cultural identity debate in Turkey it was examined. The first of the issues examined in this context that the concept is explained by the geographical factor from Turkey cultural identity. The second issue is the disclosure of identity within the framework of constitutional citizenship by ignoring emotionality, belonging, cultural affiliation and participation, which are the necessities of being a nation. The third issue is addressing cultural identity, Turkishness, on the level of ethnic identity. The subject of the article are cultural identity debate in Turkey. The article's basic problems which discussions are held about cultural identity in Turkey? It is the question. In this context, the aim of the article is used method of documentation, cultural identity debate in Turkey is to examine the sociological many aspects.
