Abstract

Abstract

Between the High Renaissance and the Baroque period in Italy, the Mannerism art movement, when emerged between 1520 and 1580, broke the patterns of equality, symmetry, perspective and harmony of Renaissance as a result of the reflection of intellectual reforms to art, created a dramatic and mystical atmospher with the use of free light and color. Tinteretto has become one of the greatest creators of this atmosphere by revealing the religious feeling lost in the Middle Ages with its understanding of colors and colors with the knowledge gained with Renaissance. Another one is El Greco, whose colors differed from the experience of the reality, with their forms, creating a new language of expression and enriching the possibility of expression of light and color as much as possible, and the unique value of his art cannot be understood for two hundred years. The pictural magic of Mannerism, under the leadership of these painters, has and still leaves many contemporary artists under its influence.
