Abstract
Gazâlî şiddet konusunu Gazap başlığı altında özellikle İhyâu Ulûmi’d-Din adlı eserinde ayrı bir bölüm olarak detayları ile incelemiştir.
Kişinin iç âlemini yönlendiren üç ana duygu vardır. Bu duygular sayesinde düşünür, isteğine ulaşır veya istemediği şeylerden korunur ve kaçınır. Kalp bu duygular ile olaylara hükmeder ve hareket emrini verir. Bunlar kalbin kontrolündeki akıl, gazap (şiddet) ve şehvet duygularıdır. Her hareketin altında bu duyguların en az biri mevcuttur. Bu duygulardan biri olan gazap (şiddet); savunma ve saldırı anında bizi harekete geçiren bir duygudur. Kendi içinde azı, çoğu ve itidali olan bu duygu, amelî, sözel ve bâtın olarak kişiden kişiye biz iz bırakır.
Bu çalışmada insanın doğduğu an itibarı ile ilk yaratılan duygu şehvetten hemen sonra yaratılan gazap duygusunun hakikatini, kalp akıl ve ruh ile ilişkisini, derecelerini, şiddet ile olan bağlantısını, insanı şiddete hazırlayan sebeplerini ve kötü yönlerinden kurtulma çarelerini araştıracağız.

Abstract
Violence is one of the important issues covered by Ghazali. Imam Ghazali in various works under the wrath title Ihyâu Ulûmi'd-Din of violence and in particular examine as a separate section with details in his book.
There are three main emotions that direct one's inner world. Through these emotions, he thinks, reaches his desire or is protected and avoided from things he does not want. The heart commands these emotions and events and commands the movement. These are the mind, the wrath (violence) and the sensations of lust under the control of the heart. There is at least one of these emotions under each movement. One of these feelings is wrath (violence); It is a feeling that activates us at the moment of defense and attack. This feeling, which is few, most and modest in itself, leaves us a mark from person to person as operative, verbal and full.
In this study, people born in the moment as with the first created feelings of lust immediately after the creation of the wrath of the sense of truth, the relationship with the heart mind and soul, the degree of connection with the violence, we will investigate the reasons for preparing people to violence and help get rid of the bad direction.
