Abstract
Bir örgütte bilgi yönetimi faaliyetlerinde istenilen sonuçların elde edilebilmesi için öncelikli olarak güçlü bir alt yapıya gereksinim vardır. Bu alt yapıyı oluşturan unsurlar, bilgi yönetimi teknolojileri, örgüt kültürü, bilgi yönetimine uygun bir örgüt yapısı ve entelektüel sermayedir. Bu unsurlar içerisinde en önemli yeri, bilgiyi toplamak, örgütlemek ve örgütün strateji ile hedefleri doğrultusunda işe yarar biçimde hayata geçirmek üzere kullanılan teknolojileri içerisinde barındıran, bilgi teknolojisi araçları almaktadır. Bilgi yönetimi sürecinde kullanılan bilgi teknolojisi araçlarını, bilgi üretimi, bilgi sınıflandırması ve bilgi paylaşılması faaliyetlerinin performansını destekleyen araçlar olarak tanımlayabilmemiz mümkündür. Bilgi teknolojileri, sektörde yaşanan rekabete uyum sağlamalarında örgütlere önemli kazançlar sunmaktadır. Bilgi teknolojileri vasıtasıyla rekabet üstünlüğü sağlamak isteyen yöneticilerin bu teknolojin getirdiği değişimlerin ne olduğunu bilmeleri ve kavramaları gerekmektedir. Bilgi yönetimi sürecinde, örgütlerde pek çok teknoloji kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmayla, örgütlerde bilgi yönetimi sürecinin etkinliğini artırmak üzere kullanılan araçlar ortaya konularak, bu araçların süreci nasıl etkilediği incelenecektir.

Abstract
In order to achieve the desired results in information management activities in an organization, a strong infrastructure is required. The elements of this infrastructure are information management technologies, organizational culture, an organizational structure suitable for knowledge management and intellectual capital. The most important of these elements are information technology tools which include the technologies used to gather and organize information and implement the organization in accordance with the strategy and objectives of the organization. It is possible to define the information technology tools used in the information management process as tools supporting the performance of information production, information classification and information sharing activities. Information technologies offer significant gains to organizations in adapting to competition in the sector. Managers who want to provide a competitive advantage through information technologies need to know and understand what changes this technology brings. During the information management process, many technologies are used in organizations. In this study, the tools used to increase the effectiveness of the information management process in organizations will be introduced and how these tools affect the process will be examined.
