Abstract
Ekonomik ve sosyal gelişimin lokomotifi olan ulaştırma sektörünü küresel düzemde en çok gelişme kaydeden sektörlerden biridir. Sektör geliştikçe ekonomideki değer sektöre de domino etkisi yaratmaktadır. Genel olarak turizm sektörü üzerinde iki unsuru barındırmaktadır: “Hareket” ve “geri dönüş”. Hareket unsuru ulaştırma ile iç içedir ve turizm denilince ilk anda akla gelen ulaştırmadır. Turizm olayı, ulaştırma, yol ve araçları olmadan gerçekleşemez. Aralarında doğrusal bir ilişki bulunan turizm ve ulaştırma sektörü birbirinden ayrılmaz bütünlük içindedir. Bu bağlamda aralarında “neden-sonuç” ilişkiler bulunan bu iki sektörün Türkiye ekonomisi üzerindeki etkilerini analiz etmek çalışmamızın amacını oluşturmaktadır.

Abstract
As a leverage of economic and social advancement, transportation is one of the most progressive industries. The more it improves, it creates domino effect in the industry. Tourism industry contains two concepts in general: “movement” and “return”. Movement concept is interwoven with transportation and it connotes transportaion. Tourism is unthinkable without transportation, ways and vehicles. Tourism and transportaion industries, which have a linear connection, are inseparable parts of a whole . In this context, our study’s aim is to analyse the effects of these two industries, which have a cause and effect relation in between, on the economy of Turkey.
