Abstract
Film çevirisi, görsel-işitsel olması nedeniyle diğer tüm çeviri türlerinden ayrılmaktadır. Çeviribilim kapsamında incelenebilecek filmin çevirisinde izlenen süreçler ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın bütüncesi, orijinal dili Fransızca olan “Il ne faut jurer de rien” filminin Türkçe altyazı çevirisidir. Bu çalışmada, altyazı çevirisinde çevirmen tarafından geliştirilen stratejiler, çeviribilim çerçevesinde betimleyici bir yaklaşımla irdelenmeye çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
Film translation is separated from all other types of translation because of its audiovisual nature. The processes followed in the translation of the film that can be examined within the scope of translation science are covered in detail. The whole of the research is subtitling the French film named “Il ne faut jurer de rien”. In this study, the strategies developed by the translator in subtitle translation will be tried to be analyzed with a descriptive approach in transcription.
