Abstract
Bu çalışmada Fransızcadan Türkçeye çeviri sürecinde özellikle çeviri bölümü öğrencilerinin karşılaştıkları güçlüklerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikle çeviri ve çeviri türlerinden genel olarak bahsedildikten sonra, çeviri sürecinde öğrencilerin çoğunlukla karşı karşıya kalabilecekleri güçlükler ve bu güçlüklerden kaynaklanan çeviri hataları örnekler aracılığıyla ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bunun için çalışmada, çeviri bölümü öğrencilerinin gerek çeviri derslerinde gerekse staj aşamasında çeviri amaçlı kullanabilecekleri farklı metin türlerinden alınan tümce örnekleri ve bu tümcelerin çevirilerinde oluşabilecek hata örneklerine yer verilmiştir. Daha sonra söz konusu metin türlerinde çeviri hatalarına yola açabilecek olan güçlükler ve bu güçlüklerden kaynaklanabilecek olan çeviri sorunlarına bazı öneriler sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Böylelikle bu çalışmayla hem çeviri bölümü öğrencilerine hem de çeviri alanında yapılan çalışmalara katkı sağlanması umulmaktadır.

Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to determine the difficulties encountered by the students of the translation department especially in the process of translation from French to Turkish. After discussing the translation and translation types in general, the difficulties that students often encounter during the translation process and the translation mistakes resulting from these difficulties have been tried to be revealed through examples. To this end, examples of sentences taken from different types of texts that translation students can use in translation lessons or internship stages, and examples of mistakes that may occur in translating these sentences. Later on, we tried to present some suggestions on the difficulties that could lead to translation mistakes in these types of texts and on the translation problems that might arise from these difficulties. Thus, it is hoped that this study will contribute both to the students of the translation department and to the work done in the field of translation.
