Abstract
Bu çalışmada, XIX. yüzyıl ortalarında Edirne Eyaleti dâhilinde Gelibolu Sancağı’na bağlı olan Evreşe Kazası’nın hane sahiplerine dair bazı bilgiler ve kazada tespit edilen meslekler ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ana kaynağını, R. 1256/M. 1840 yılında kaydı tutulan ve içerisinde 18 adet köyün yer aldığı 5945 numaralı Evreşe Kazası Temettuât Defteri oluşturmaktadır. Defterde sosyal yapıya dair nüfus verileri, hane reisinin adı, lakabı, eşkâli, aile adı ve meslekî durumu ile ilgili bilgiler bulunmaktadır. Bu bilgilerden hareketle, Evreşe Kazası’nın 18 köyünde mevcut olan nüfus ve sosyo-ekonomik dokuyu gösteren meslekler tespit edilmiş ve bunlar kendi içinde tasnife tabi tutulmuştur. Neticede, XIX. yüzyıl ortalarında Evreşe Kazası’nın sosyal yapısına dair bazı verilerin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract
In this study, some informations about house owners of Evreşe District which tied to Gelibolu Sanjak in Edirne Province in the middle of 19th century and occupations which was determined in this district, have been discussed. “5945 numbered” Temettûat Register of Evreşe District which was recorded in 1840 and belonged to the eighteen villages, constitute the main source of this study. This registers include informations concerning with information about population which is concerning to social structure, head of the household’s name, nickname, appearance, family name and occupation status. With this information, in Evreşe District’s eighteen village, occupations which indicated to population and socio-economic texture have been determined, and they have been classified in their own. Eventually, in the middle of 19th century it has been aimed to reveal some the data about Evreşe District’s social structure.
