Abstract
Çalışmanın amacı Zaho Üniveristesi Türk Dili Bölümünde okuyan öğrencilerin ders dışı etkinliklerinden olan ev ödevleri hakkındaki görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Kuzey Irak Zaho Üniversitesi İnsani Bilimler Fakültesi Türk Dili Bölümnde eğitimlerine devam eden öğrenciden oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır, veriler ise öğrencilerden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesi içerik analizi ile yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerden alınan veriler analiz edildikten sonra, ev ödevini hazırlarken zorlandıkları konuların başında hem bölgede hem üniveriste kütüphanesindeki kitap kaynaklarının çok sınırlı olması, ev ödevi yapma sürecinde aile ve arkadaş ortamlarından yardım alamaması, bazı dil becerileriyle ilgili ödev alırken bazılarının nerdeyse ihmal edilmesi gibi etkenler öğrencilerin Türkçe öğrenme sürecinde olumsuz yönde etkilere yol açtığı tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of the study is to examine the opinions of students studying at Zakho University Turkish Language Department about homework, which is one of their extracurricular activities. The sample of the research consists of students who continue their education at the Department of Turkish Language, Faculty of Humanities, Zakho University, Northern Iraq. Qualitative research method was used in the study, and the data was obtained from the students through semi-structured interview forms. Data analysis was done by content analysis. After analyzing the data received from the students, it was determined that the main issues that students had difficulty in preparing their homework were the limited book resources both in the region and in the university library, the inability to get help from family and friends during the homework process, and the fact that some language skills were almost neglected while taking homework in learning Turkish it has been determined that these factors causes negative effects in the process.
