Abstract

Abstract

Being a human materializes itself at best by expressing one’s pure emotions. Human beings are living creatures who feel and express emotions. It is a fascinating experience to witness artist’s expression of their emotions in all fields of the arts. When emotions which can turn into a unique work of art in the hands of an artist are not managed well can force people and cause some problems in their relationships. Human beings are complex creatures and can feel a wide variety of emotions in the face of everyday events. At this point, control of emotions and good management of them come into play. Emotional resilience means to manage emotions in all social situations. It also includes not only managing emotions, but also controlling the individual's reaction to his or her own inner feelings, as well as the behaviors that emerge as a result. People who have emotional resilience can use their ability to overcome challenging life events by their positive thinking habits and emotional control. In recent years, a variety of research about resilience which is one of the most interesting subjects has been carried out in our country. However emotional resilience draws attention as a subject that needs to be examined. The aim of this study is to theoretically examine emotional resilience in the context of children and adolescents.
