The research is a study with experimental and control groups, based on a pre-test-post-test model, where the effect of "Responsibility Awareness Development Psycho-education" on the responsibility attitudes of adolescents is examined. The study group of the study consists of seventh grade students studying at a private secondary school in Malatya. "Responsibility Attitude Scale" was used in determining the research group. 28 students who had a lower score than the scale and volunteered to participate in the study were identified and this group was randomly divided into two (14-person experiment and 14-person control group). An eight-week "Responsibility Awareness Psycho-education" was applied to the experimental group of the study. On the other hand, no study was done to develop the awareness of responsibility in the control group. In the last session ‘Responsibility Attitude Scale was applied to the experimental group again and it was evaluated as a post-test. The scale was applied to the control group the week after the "Responsibility Awareness Development Psycho-education" was completed with the experimental group. According to the findings of the research; there was no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the control group. However, significant differences were found as a result of the pre-test and post-test measurements of the experimental group. In addition, while there was no significant difference between the pre-test measurements of the experimental and control groups; significant difference was detected as a result of posttest measurements. These results show that the applied "Responsibility Awareness Psycho-education" is effective on adolescents' responsibility attitudes.
