This study was carried out to get the opinions of the primary school teachers about the distance education performed due to COVID-19. In this study, quantitave method was used to get the detailed views of the teachers. The study group consists of eight teachers working in private school in the city centre of Amasya and eight teachers working in public school in the Malazgirt district of Muş. A structured interview form consisting six open ended questions was developed and used. The obtained datawere analyzed through content analysis. Codes and themes were created and presented in the findings section. As a result of the study, it was seen that technological equipment and parents’ support were not found sufficient to maintain the distance education by public school teachers whereas they were considered sufficient by private school teachers.
